The full conference programme for SLF Online is live and delegates can now register for sessions.

Delegates can take some time to explore the programme of four keynotes and over 90 seminar sessions which are all tailored around the theme ‘Renew, Refresh, Re-imagine: Learning from our experiences and looking to the future’ and the five supporting themes as set out in the refreshed curriculum.

HM Chief Inspector of Education and Chief Executive at Education Scotland, Gayle Gorman, will open the conference with a keynote address about how we learn from our experiences, taking into account recent reviews and reports, and look towards the future.

The Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills, Shirley-Anne Somerville, will deliver the keynote address on the first day, making the most of her first opportunity to speak with the education community directly.

On day two, delegates can join the International Council of Education Advisers, for a keynote to discuss and take questions on their latest report setting out the opportunities and challenges for the Scottish education system.

The Right Honourable Stuart Lawrence will join delegates for the third and final keynote on the last day of the conference. Stuart Lawrence is a consultant, youth engagement specialist, coach and public speaker. He is also the younger brother of Stephen Lawrence, the British teenager murdered in a racially motivated attack in 1993.

This year’s conference and exhibition will take place in a fantastic, brand new, 3D digital environment. From the concourse, delegates can take a seat in the digital auditorium for the inspiring live and recorded sessions, visit over 30 stands in the exhibition area, chat with colleagues and network - all from their own device from anywhere, making this year’s SLF the most accessible yet.
