SLF 2022: re-watch sessions on Youtube

All the recorded sessions from this year’s Scottish Learning Festival have now moved onto the Education Scotland YouTube channel.

Those who were unable to attend the two-day hybrid conference in September, or those who simply want to re-watch the sessions again, can access all the seminars, spotlights and satellite events on YouTube.

The SLF virtual portal has now closed.

Under the theme, ‘Being Me, Being Us: Placing learners at the heart of Scottish Education’, Education Scotland hosted thousands of participants, both online and in-person over both days of SLF, to champion a learner-centred pedagogy towards education.

Chief Executive of Education Scotland and His Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Education, Gayle Gorman said: “This year’s Scottish Learning Festival was a huge success and it was encouraging to see so many education professionals engaging with over 65 sessions.

'Following feedback from last year’s event, we also launched six small satellite events at college locations around Scotland, which people could attend in-person. These included learner showcases and keynote sessions which were streamed live on the SLF platform.

'SLF has always been a fantastic professional learning opportunity and our YouTube facility will allow the entire education community a chance to re-watch the sessions that are relevant to their practice and context.'

Keynotes, interactive sessions and debates are available on a range of subjects including numeracy, literacy and health and well-being, and participants who wish to watch again can access the full video playlist on the Education Scotland YouTube channel.

The videos are accessible anywhere, any time, and on any device that has internet access.
