Virtual sessions from Scottish Learning Festival 2022 available to watch again online
The Scottish Learning Festival’s (SLF) watch again feature is now live with more than 65 recorded sessions from this year’s event available to view online.
Those who registered and attended the two-day hybrid conference in September can access all the seminars, spotlights and satellite events through the SLF online portal by using their unique login.
New delegates can still register for SLF to access all the recorded sessions and streams on-demand to support their professional learning and help keep their practice fresh and up-to-date.
Under the theme, ‘Being Me, Being Us: Placing learners at the heart of Scottish Education’, Education Scotland hosted thousands of participants, both online and in-person over both days of SLF, to champion a learner-centred pedagogy towards education.
Chief Executive of Education Scotland and His Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Education, Gayle Gorman said: “This year’s Scottish Learning Festival was a huge success and it was encouraging to see so many education professionals engaging with over 65 sessions.
'Following feedback from last year’s event, we also launched six small satellite events at college locations around Scotland, which people could attend in-person. These included learner showcases and key note sessions which were streamed live on the SLF platform.
'All of the seminars, keynotes, spotlights and satellite events which took place at SLF were recorded and I’m delighted to let you know these are now available on the SLF online portal until 30 November. After that they will be moved onto the Education Scotland YouTube channel.
'SLF has always been a fantastic professional learning opportunity and our watch again facility will allow the entire education community a chance to re-watch the sessions that are relevant to their practice and context.'
Participants who wish to watch again can use their unique login to access the SLF online platform then visit the main stage area to gain access to the full two-day programme.
Keynotes, interactive sessions and debates are available on a range of subjects including numeracy, literacy and health and well-being.
The videos are accessible anywhere, any time, and on any device that has internet access.
