Recordings from Learning and Teaching in 2021 and beyond

Over the last two Mondays, hundreds of teachers, school staff, early years and childcare staff and CLD colleagues joined Deputy First Minister, John Swinney, and HM Chief Inspector, Gayle Gorman, in a conversation about learning and teaching.

Participants were invited to submit questions in advance and some very clear themes and areas for discussion were then identified.

The topics explored ranged from early years provision to partnership working and from qualifications to digital equity. During each conversation, the Deputy First Minister and Gayle Gorman provided honest thoughts and reflections and shared aspirations for the future based on lessons learned over the past year.

If you were unable to make it along to either session, you can see the full range of questions in the document provided below and watch the recording to hear the response.

Finally, throughout the conversations, references were made to a variety of resources which could provide further guidance and support. We agreed to share those after the meeting have provided it in the summary document below.
