Development Officer - Mentors in Violence Prevention – closing date 23 November

Service Design Lead – closing date 18 November

We are currently seeking applications for an Service Design Lead within Education Scotland based in Glasgow. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Service designers design the end-to-end journey of a service. This helps a user complete their goal and government deliver a policy intent. Their work may involve the creation of, or change to, transactions, products and content across both digital and offline channels provided by different parts of government.

A lead service designer is an expert practitioner who influences and mentors others. They work with service managers and programme directors to develop design concepts. They set direction, assure the quality of design delivery across teams and can lead multiple or highly complex services.

We are currently seeking applications for a Lead Specialist within the Education Scotland’s Professional Learning and Leadership Directorate in Glasgow. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Assessment Support Officer: Gaelic Medium Education - Closing date 18 November

We are currently seeking applications for an Assessment Support Officer: Gaelic Medium Education within Education Scotland, based in any office throughout Scotland. This is a 23 month fixed term and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Head of Information Security - closing date 12 November

We are currently seeking applications for a Head of Information Security within Education Scotland based in Glasgow. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. These posts attract a £4,000 DDaT pay supplement after a 9 months DDaT competency qualifying period. Pay supplements are temporary payments designed to address recruitment and retention issues caused by market pressures and are subject to regular review.
