Supporting learners facing difficulties with numeracy and mathematics - deep dive on using RekenreksTue, 21 November 2023, 16:00-17:30
This programme is aimed at all practitioners supporting learners who have demonstrated difficulties with numeracy and mathematics. The professional learning series will offer examples of effective, inclusive teaching strategies and approaches.
Please note that registration for this event will give you access to all four sessions listed below, it is preferred that delegates attend all four sessions. Joining information will be sent for each session separately by email, in advance of each session. Dates and times are below:
- Session 1 – Addition and subtraction - 26th September 2023, 16:00 – 17:30
- Session 3 – Multiplication and division (part 1) - 12th March 2024, 16:00 – 17:30
- Session 4 – Multiplication and division (part 2) - 14th May 2024, 16:00 – 17:30
Please be aware that the target audience for this event is professionals within the education sector in Scotland. To register, please enter either a school, establishment, local authority or Glow email address. If you work in Scottish education and would like to attend but do not have a Glow or work email address, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the name of your setting or service, to request a place. It is not possible to transfer your booking to anyone else. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking to free up a space for another participant. Joining instructions will be sent out 48 hours before the event.
