The iPad Toolkit – getting the most out of your device in class
Thu, 05 September 2024, 16:00-17:00Getting an iPad can be a scary experience. Teaching with it can be scarier if you don’t know where to start. Introducing the iPad toolkit; a series of webinars that will help you maximize the potential of using iPad to enhance learning and teaching in your classroom.
The most versatile tool in the classroom is the pencil case. It allows pupils to create anything - from a strongly written essay, to 20 questions on Pythagoras, to a beautiful piece of art. In our modern classrooms, technology is a digital pencil case. It allows our learners to create, make, and share a large range of materials that showcase their knowledge in a way that’s makes sense of them.
Knowing what is possible using technology, gives teachers the knowledge to know what effective use of technology looks like – all of these points plus examples of digital literacy, made using effective digital skills will be covered in these sessions.
This session is for all practitioners who consider themselves to have low/medium confidence when using the iPad for teaching and learning.
This session will NOT be recorded.
