How to use this learning and assessment resource to improve practice

This social studies resources provides an opportunity for teachers to explore the Declaration of Arbroath with their pupils. There is a full translation of the Declaration as well as a set of activities which could be used with classes. The material considers the role of the scribe in medieval times and how they were able to influence the meaning of the documents they worked on by changing words.
