What was done?

The 'Making A Difference' work in Kintore Primary School enhances children’s contribution to, and participation in, society. Children work together in teams, recognising, using and building on the skills and abilities of team members to complete tasks. In this film, children from the school describe the range of ways in which they make a difference in their local community, and how these activities equip them with a number of important life skills for the future.

Why it was done?

Staff wanted young people to build their capacity to make a difference in their own lives and in their local community.

What was the impact?

Impact from this work shows children enhancing their knowledge of their local community, including business partnerships, to gain a better understanding of the skills they will need for their futures.
