This newsletter for practitioners shares ideas to support children and young people’s learning.

These updates focus on supporting you, as educators, in creating ideas and learning activities to support children and young people’s learning. We will also be sharing information on supporting learners and their families, along with news, resources and useful links, and sharing practice from around Scotland.

We will publish suggestions for learning activities for literacy and English, numeracy and mathematics, health and wellbeing and a context for learning that will focus on other areas of the curriculum.

Scotland Learns - Overview of learning activities August to October 2020

Education Scotland is continuing to develop a resource bank of learning activities. This is intended to support practitioners deliver a model of blended learning should it be required.

This overview of activities focuses on literacy and English, numeracy and mathematics, health and wellbeing for broad general education along with activities to support cross-curricular learning. You may find this helpful when planning children’s and young people’s learning for academic year 2020-21.
