Education Scotland launches Corporate Plan for 2019-22

Education Scotland has published its Corporate Plan for 2019-22 setting out a clear vision and direction of travel for the organisation.

Gayle Gorman, HM Chief Inspector of Education and Chief Executive of Education Scotland said: “Our Corporate Plan sets out the vision for how Education Scotland will ensure that we deliver a positive impact for all learners and educators. In doing so, we will work more closely with our partners across sectors and increasingly with wider partners, particularly employers.”

The Plan is focused around five new strategic priorities which are fully in line with the National Improvement Framework (NIF) for education:

  • a strong focus on learning, teaching and leadership;
  • national collaborative professional learning networks;
  • getting it right for every child;
  • best use of high quality evidence; and
  • effective partnerships.

The Corporate Plan confirms Education Scotland’s commitment to work more closely and collaboratively with all involved in improving Scotland’s education system.
