A new fund is now open to support secondary schools in finding creative solutions to challenges in their own school’s curriculum design.
The Creative Curriculum Fund will seek to tackle challenges relating to learner voice, senior phase, pathways, timetabling, work based learning, school environment, learner/teacher relationships, and inter-disciplinary learning amongst others.
The fund which is being delivered by Education Scotland in partnership with Creative Scotland, will award ten schools with £3,000 to employ a Creative Catalyst.
Creative Catalysts are individuals or organisations who offer creative approaches to thinking and problem solving. They will support schools and will collaborate, share ideas, explore new possibilities and generate innovative solutions to the challenges they face.
