Transitions 2020

Coloured leaves pegged on a lineCOVID-19 has brought huge challenges and changes to all our lives. In the context of COVID 19, all children and young people have experienced unexpected transitions such as school closure, extended time at home and learning in a different school or centre. Others may have experienced changes in family circumstances and may have changed address or care placement. Children and young people can expect to return to a school which looks quite different from that experienced previously.

Education Scotland is working with the Scottish Government, local authorities and school staff to help plan support for you and your child. Keeping you informed is vital. This collection of links and resources will be continually updated and aims to connect you to the latest help and advice as we all work together to ensure children and young people can make safe and happy transitions in 2020.
