Consultation with British Sign Language Users on engaging in their children’s learning

Education Scotland are working in partnership with Scottish Government, the British Deaf Association Scotland (BDA), National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) and British Sign Language (BSL) users to develop information and advice about how parents who use BSL can get further involved in their child’s learning. To help us develop this, we are inviting responses from: Deaf parents of Deaf children; Deaf parents of hearing children; and hearing parents of Deaf children, to inform and shape this advice.

The online consultation is available in English and British Sign Language and will be open until Tuesday 31st March 2020.  For further information please email or Tel:  0131 244 3960.
