St David’s High School has highly effective approaches to parental engagement that result in parents having improved confidence in supporting their children’s learning and development.

Reflecting on your own setting, consider the following:-

  • ​To what extent are we sure of what meaningful engagement with families looks like?
  • What evidence do we have that family learning is improving the life chances of the families involved?
  • How do we know outcomes for our pupils are improving as a result of their participation in family learning?​​
  • What approaches do we have in place to help us ensure provision is responsive to the needs of families?
