This quality framework is based around the well-proven framework which has been in place for the external review of publicly-funded colleges since September 2008.

As well as providing the focus for inspections of private further education colleges and English language schools, it will be a useful framework for providers to adapt as they wish to assist them with their own internal review and self-evaluation activities, as they strive for quality enhancement.
