As part of the early work on the Curriculum Improvement Cycle (CIC) we are looking for practitioners to join curriculum area collaboration groups. Initially we are looking for volunteers to support the work in Literacy and English, Literacy and Gàidhlig, HWB and Science.

Closing date for expressions of interest is 4 November so there is plenty of time to apply and the process takes less than 3 minutes.

Just so you know, we haven’t forgotten about the other curriculum areas. We aim to create and recruit for collaboration groups for the other curriculum areas in early 2025.

To support the work of the CIC, Education Scotland has set up a dedicated CIC Glow Blog. This page provides background to the CIC and aims to keep those interested updated on the process and the progress being made. 

We are also now seeking applications for Education Scotland Associates (ESAs). As part of the role ESAs will help to support improvement activity across Scotland's education landscape and also the early work of the Curriculum Improvement Cycle. The closing date for this role is Sunday 10 November 2024 at 11:59pm.
