Learner Spotlight sessions focusing in depth on a range of different learner groups, themes and questions are now available as part of ‘Our National Discussion.’

These live and interactive sessions are an opportunity for Scotland’s learners to concentrate and get creative about what really matters to them.

The menu of learner Spotlight sessions is expanding so be sure to bookmark e-Sgoil’s webpage where you can find out more about what’s on when and where – and sign up!

Remember also that young people are invited to join us for the ‘Our National Discussion Live’ events on either 16 or 23 November. This is an opportunity for young people to tell us their hopes and ideas for the future vision of Scottish education. You can find out more and sign up via this e-Sgoil page. There will be BSL interpretation throughout the events on 16 and 23 November and recordings of these sessions with captioning will also be added later for anyone who can’t attend.

These events are entirely optional and additional to what schools and local authorities want to do already. They are intended to flag the importance of the National Discussion on Scottish Education, to stimulate creative thinking, and to empower learners and their teachers to contribute more readily.

Don’t forget to share your learners’ thinking, drawings, and needs using the hashtag #TalkScottishEducation or using these simple online forms.
