New Learning for Sustainability webpage is now live
Learning for Sustainability (LfS) is about exploring local and global issues connected to people and planet. It’s about children, young people and communities taking action towards a better future for all.
Our new LfS webpage showcases practice examples, provides advice and guidance, and signposts relevant professional learning.
Gillian Hamilton, Chief Executive of Education Scotland, said:
“Learning for Sustainability can be transformational. Don’t take my word for it - watch the inspiring videos from children, young people and practitioners from across Scotland as they share their own stories.
“Learning for Sustainability is a clear priority and momentum is building but there is still much to do. Many schools and settings across Scotland are responding to Target 2030 helping their setting to become sustainable. We hope this new resource will support even more practitioners to explore LfS with learners.”
