Interim Chief Executive of Education Scotland, Gillian Hamilton said:
“Scottish Computing Science Week is an opportunity to celebrate computing science in Scottish schools. Digital skills are crucial for the future success of our children and young people who face a rapidly evolving digital world. With over 10,000 learners and over 700 practitioners joining our sessions it is fantastic to see such rich engagement and enthusiasm for computing science in our schools. There are still lots of opportunities for practitioners and learners to engage with computing science and I would encourage practitioners to visit the DigiLearn YouTube page and look out for further lessons and code-alongs that you and your learners can take part in.”
Even though Scottish Computing Science Week is now over learners can still take part in the Scratch Sustainability Challenge.
