Scottish Education Awards 2023 finalists announced
Education Scotland is delighted to announce the shortlisted finalists for this year’s Scottish Education Awards.
The finalists, from across the Scottish education sector, will attend the prestigious awards ceremony in The Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Glasgow on 7 June 2023.
The strength of this year’s nominations across the 11 award categories certainly made the judges’ decisions tricky but showcased some of the fantastic work going on in classrooms and communities across Scotland.
The Scottish Education Awards, hosted by The Daily Record with Education Scotland as proud main sponsors, were launched in 2001. Their aim is to recognise the achievements of educational establishments and individuals who dedicate their lives to education and delivering opportunities for every child and young person to succeed in life.
Gillian Hamilton, interim Chief Executive of Education Scotland said:
“It really is wonderful to see so many fantastic entries for this year’s Scottish Education Awards and it’s a true testament to the lasting, positive impact that educators can have in the lives of learners. Holding these awards is important to recognise and celebrate the exceptional work going on across the education sector. I’m very much looking forward to meeting all the finalists at the awards ceremony in June.”
