Through September and October this year, around 3500 learners in 119 Scottish secondary schools will be participating in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA)

The assessment is organised by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and tests the performance of 15-year-olds in science, mathematics and English.

Our latest podcast takes a deep dive into PISA to provide a background to the assessment, how it works, why it is important, and why more than 700,000 learners from over 80 countries around the world take part in this.

This podcast is presented by TV presenter, speaker and author, Dallas Campbell and includes insights from some of the classroom teachers who have worked with Education Scotland to develop a comprehensive support package for learners and schools that will be participating in the assessment, as well as accompanying information for parents and carers.
