Eilidh required additional support with her learning. She progressed at her own pace and level and loved music and performing in school concerts and shows.

Over S4 and S5 she achieved National 1 units in personal development, independent living skills and physical education. Through participation in a local youth group she received a Youth Achievement Award.

In S6 she transferred to a Lifeskills course at the local college. This prepared her well for a full-time Lifeskills course at College. This course included a weekly work placement at a local children's soft play centre where she was able to experience a wide range of vocational opportunities including reception duties, play assistant, chef duties and waitressing.

“I have always had support to help me with my school work but am happy that this means I can get better all the time. I really enjoy sports, music, dancing and talking and I’m really good at all four! In the senior phase I have had the chance to go to the local college and have really enjoyed the course as well as meeting new people. I have almost completed my bronze Duke of Edinburgh award and hope that I can continue with that in the future.
