The education landscape is ever changing. We all know too well the demands on educators to fulfil the daily challenges posed by their jobs – as well as trying to stay ahead of the change curve.

And what of our middle leaders?

Middle leaders play a hugely important role in school: impacting learning and teaching, driving initiative and as Bennet et al (2003) noted, acting as both the "buffer and bridge" between senior leadership and direction of travel in the school improvement journey and what goes on at the very heart of education: the learning and teaching of our young people.

The Middle Leaders Leading Change programme is a great way to upskill in this challenging space. This programme recognises the demands of busy middle leaders and offers a flexible and practical learning experience that can be adapted to suit individual professionals navigating busy working lives. It builds on our popular Aspiring to Middle Leadership programme although this is not a pre-requisite.

This programme is a privilege to work on. Middle leaders come to the space with extensive and varied experience; the collective knowledge gained from this – along with a research based approach makes for a rich learning experience.
