The National Occupational standards (NOS) are individual measures of competence for education professionals. They are grouped together based on which sector they relate to.

Engaging and supporting learners

Standards for engaging and supporting learners include:

• FL07: Recruit participants onto Family Learning
• FL08: Build and maintain effective relationships with families to ensure a learner centred approach
