This resource is part of the the Inclusion, Wellbeing and Equalities Framework. It also forms part of the Scottish Government’s Hate Crime Strategy. It is created in collaboration with YouthLink Scotland, respectme anti-bullying service, and the Hate Crime Strategic Partnership.

The resource provides an opportunity to improve your understanding and awareness of:

  • how to identify early signs of prejudice-based behaviours and hate crime

  • what to do when prejudice-based behaviours and hate crime occur,

  • how to report prejudice-based behaviours and hate crime and support those affected

The Digital Discourse Initiative professional learning course aims to provide educators in Scotland with knowledge and tools to counter the effects of online hate in schools. 

The STOP service uses a programme which has been designed to educate and rehabilitate individuals to ensure positive, achievable and sustainable changes in attitudes and behaviours.
