Partnership and multi-agency working
Partnerships with stakeholders are crucial to improving attendance for children and young people, including families.
All schools should consider the partnerships they have with local authority colleagues, the Community Learning and Development (CLD) sector, third sector organisations, health, police etc. as they create the foundations of effective and impactful practice. Parents and families should also be part of these partnerships and be included in the approaches developed where possible.
The trio of resources within this section have been co-designed with stakeholders to support establishments and communities in how they develop partnerships, agree the principles of their approach, create interventions and share common language. They should be used in order to deliver the greatest possible impact and change.
