A nation-wide survey of teachers and stakeholders on Food Education across the UK May 2023.
At the end of 2022, researchers from Glasgow Caledonian University shared an online survey to explore the opinions and experiences of Food Education teachers across the UK. The primary focus of the research was to explore barriers to practical Food Education encountered by pupils in secondary schools across the UK.
A secondary focus of the research was to explore the potential contribution of Food Education in tackling food insecurity and promoting health and well-being.

- Curriculum for Excellence values inter-disciplinary learning – how could practitioners build Food and Health education into current IDL projects to enhance learners understanding of the importance of food education?
- How could practitioners support learners to address concerns around the cost of living, food poverty and food insecurity?
