This video along with reflective questions invites you to consider how you put together a latest achievement folder. You are invited to watch the video and consider, individually or as a team, the following improvement questions:

  • How do you exemplify children’s latest and best work in an achievement folder showing breadth and depth within their learning?
  • How do you work with other colleagues to ensure there are clear pathways set to reach a level securely with evidence of breadth depth and challenge?
  • What type of information should be kept within an achievement folder?
  • How do you work alongside the children to ensure they have a voice to discuss their skills developments each term?
  • Are there digital solutions that would support and enhance this approach?

What was done?

Children put together an achievement folder with their latest and best work. This ensures that there is clear evidence of learner achievement and that children can evidence progressive improvement.

Why it was done?

Staff wanted to ensure that children could exemplify their latest and best work. This helps them understand alongside their peers what standards are needed to reach a level.

What was the impact?

Impact from this work shows learners able to celebrate the skills they have gained through sharing this in an achievement folder. This work also helps to give their families a better understanding of what their children are learning.
