How accessible is this website?
We know some parts of the Service Status site are not fully accessible:
- Filter services input field is nested inside its label element;
- service description tooltip uses a link element but the destination does not exist
- insufficient colour contrast;
- scroll-up icon is blocking some page content on 400% browser screen;
- most icons required to understand content do not meet the contrast ratio of 3:1 against adjacent colours;
- some pop-up’s prevent a user accessing other page content as there is no option to dismiss the pop-up’s without a mouse;
- user is unable to operate elements on the page;
- no option to skip repeated content;
- tooltip/popover icons need to move keyboard focus upon selection; and
- dropdown menu elements are not following the correct specifications regarding which states and properties should be present.
