Egg timer countdown to COP eventEducation Scotland and partners are delighted to work together to help practitioners and learners engage with COP26 through a comprehensive offer called Countdown to COP.

Countdown to COP starts today (Monday 13 September) ahead of the United Nations COP26 Climate Summit taking place in Glasgow from 1 to 12 November.

Focusing on the key themes of nature, finance, energy transition, clean transport and adaptation and resilience, Countdown to COP provides a range of resources which practitioners can use to support their learners.

Whilst Countdown to COP resources can be used to support teaching and learning on climate change and environmental issues in the run-up to COP – it can also be used to support learning for sustainability in the longer term.

Find out more about the resources and programmes being organised by Education Scotland to support engagement with COP26 by visiting our dedicated webpage. Schools and settings which are engaging with Countdown to COP can request a digital badge to promote this on their own channels.  They can request this by emailing CountdowntoCOP@educationscotland.gov.scot. These will be sent out in batches once a week.
