Youth Voice Toolkit: Online launch event
Wed, 27 August 2025, 16:00-17:00This online event marks the launch of Education Scotland’s new Youth Voice Toolkit which includes the downloadable Empowering Youth Voices Resource.
The Toolkit will enable practitioners to implement effective approaches to support genuine consultation with children and young people, across school and community settings.
Inputs from the pilot programme will demonstrate how the approach was used to successfully consult with children and young people in Forth Valley and West Lothian.
The toolkit aims to strengthen how youth voice activities are supported across the country, ensuring that many more children and young people are heard on issues that affect them — not just a select few.
Education Scotland aims to have an inclusive environment for all participants, by identifying and removing barriers in our practices.
