This presentation looks at implementation through an equity lens and considers the meaning of implementation, the importance of implementation in delivering interventions that successfully close attainment gaps and key factors that support successful implementation

The session explores why care experience is an equity issue and shares examples of promising supportive practice. This is a pre-recorded audio version of a live webinar delivered by Education Scotland Attainment Advisors on the 28th April 2021. The presentation considers: the definition and benefits of multi-agency partnerships for schools, learners and the community and recent reports that highlight why multi-agency practice is critical in closing the poverty related attainment gap and accelerating educational recovery. The Attainment Advisors are also joined by practitioners leading on projects across Scotland who have developed innovative service models that evidence multi-agency practice to address the needs of local families.
