In response to COVID-19, Education Scotland have developed this signposting resource for practitioners to use when individuals or groups of children and young people need to self-isolate or during periods of whole school closure.

The resource pulls together useful advice and links to supporting organisations into one document. It identifies some of the challenges faced by practitioners themselves, children and young people, and their families.

When using this resource, please consider the following reflective questions:

• How do I identify the needs of children and young people in the current circumstances and during home learning?
• How can I further support children and young people in their wellbeing?
• How am I supporting children and young people to continue to engage in learning and wider opportunities?
• What support and information can I signpost children and young people to?
• How might the support and provision for children and young people need to be adapted or done differently during Covid-19?
