During the inspection of Inchture Primary School in Perth and Kinross Council, HM Inspectors highlighted the school’s effective approaches to wellbeing and positive relationships.

Effective approaches to the wellbeing indicators and positive relationships at Inchture Primary are of benefit to children’s confidence, self-esteem and wellbeing. Children in P7 plan and deliver a ‘feel good Friday’ programme and they and the rest of the children benefit from this approach. Children across the school have a strong understanding of the wellbeing indicators. Both children and their families are treated with dignity and respect through the positive relationships policy.

A sketchnote has been developed to share this practice, along with a headteacher’s blog and a recovery update, which relates this practice to the recovery year and time children spent remote learning.
