'Togetherness’ resources for parents
‘Togetherness’ is an NHS project which works with parents and practitioners. Its goal is to improve emotional health worldwide for a kinder, happier and healthier society. Togetherness provides resources and support to help everyone learn more about brain development, emotional wellbeing and parenting. This knowledge fosters healthier relationships and happier lives.
Togetherness uses the Solihull Approach, an evidence-based model that positively impacts child behaviour, parental emotional health, and parent-child relationships.
Togetherness offers online courses for parents, carers and teenagers in Scotland. There are courses covering various subjects. They can help you to understand your child’s feelings, as well as your own. Courses for parents and carers cover from pregnancy to adulthood. There are also courses for teenagers, including a course on adult relationships.
Togetherness courses are for everyone. They do not tell you how to parent. Instead, they offer a way to understand different aspects of parenting.
