School-employer partnerships at the heart of the learner journey - Breadalbane Academy
This exemplar outlines Breadalbane Academy’s approach to partnership working as a central component part of the curriculum design and development of learner pathways. After many years of commitment to establishing long-term partnerships with employers and partner organisations, the benefit to learners is apparent both in terms of their understanding of future career pathways and the skills required for this as well as the school’s ability to respond to labour market demands most recently in the context of recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. It supports professional reflections around the Career Education and Work Placements Standards as well as School / Employer Partnerships.
