Nuzhat Uthmani of the University of Stirling will explore how can we bring about positive change in our pedagogy which is underpinned by the values of global citizenship and social justice?

A specialist in anti-racist education, Nuzhat will consider how far our approaches to RME promote the understanding of world religions in isolation, and how we might create a more inclusive framework for RME underpinned by anti-racism, intersectionality and sustainable development.

The webinar will provide practical examples of how this can be achieved in the classroom at all stages of learning – proposing a changed mindset is required to achieve this.
