The purpose of this self-evaluation framework is to promote the highest quality experiences for children of all ages in any childcare setting. It can be used to support children as they progress through the early years.

Central to our work is ensuring that children are safe, protected from harm and well cared for; that children are able to thrive and are provided with high quality learning and development opportunities and experiences to achieve positive outcomes.

This self-evaluation framework is rights-based and promotes a holistic approach to the evaluation of nurture, care, learning and education.
