Leadership+ (1)
Leadership+ is a series of one-off bespoke webinars which complement the work of Education Scotland’s leadership programmes, as well as reflecting big-ticket themes of interest to leaders. Webinars will be:
- Research-led
- Delivered by experts in their fields
- Clearly from a leadership perspective
- A forum where leaders at all levels can engage
The themes and speakers will be carefully curated to be of interest and relevance to education leaders in Scotland at a time of change and reform. They will support effective leadership and collective action on complex systemic issues.
The aims of Leadership+ are to:
- Enhance leadership learning across pertinent themes
- Encourage critical thinking in leaders
Leadership+ is offered to anyone in a leadership role in Scottish education, across sectors. Those registered as members of the Education Scotland PLL Community – that is, current and past participants of our leadership programmes, who choose to be on our mailing list – have advance access ahead of the webinars being opened up to the wider system.
Those who have completed open access offers, and who have indicated they are open to hearing from us, will also be invited.
Webinars will be offered approximately once per month from December 2024, and held in Microsoft Teams. They will usually be of 60 minutes’ duration. They will not be recorded live, but a 15-minute recorded summary of each webinar, made by the speakers, will be available at these pages after the event. Summary videos and any other resources provided by the speakers will be made available at the links to the right of this page.
If you are part of the PLL community, you will receive invitations to register for the Leadership+ webinars to your preferred email address.
If you’re not yet in the PLL community, follow us on our socials or visit our Events page to register using Eventbrite. You will be sent the webinar link in advance.
