The national model of professional learning in action
Exploring the national model of professional learning
Through exploring the national model we are seeking to build a shared understanding around professional learning and to demystify and exemplify aspects of the model by showing them in practise, in different settings and at different stages of a learning journey.
Watch this short video to explore the national model and hear from Jen Hodson, Probation Manager and Education Support Officer at Midlothian Council as she describes how they used the national model as a template to support the design of their professional learning.
At the centre of all the professional learning stories that we share on this page, we will highlight the direct link between the learning that we undertake as educators and the impact of that learning on those we support, be that children, young people or adult learners.
