Enterprising Practitioner Programme (Blended Pathway)
Enterprising attitudes and skills such as generating ideas, creative problem solving, being proactive and tenacious, and taking responsibility, help to support our young people to cope with, enjoy and succeed in our increasingly dynamic environment. Significant academic and policy debate and discussion surrounds the meaning of enterprise in education and of the most effective educational methods and techniques to develop the enterprising attitudes and skills of our young people.
This online programme introduces this broad area, demonstrating its cross-curricular nature and encouraging you to reflect on and adapt your practice to support skills development in your pupils.
It is offered through a combination of self-paced, online modules and four live twilights via MS Teams. These 30 notional hours of professional learning combine opportunities for personal reading, reflection, professional dialogue and supportive networking.
This programme is aimed at teachers and middle leaders of ASN, early years, primary and secondary, especially those with an interest in enterprise, DYW and skills development.
The programme will run over the course of one academic year, beginning in September and finishing in May/June.
