Responding to racist incidents: Practical approaches to a whole-school anti-racist environment
There are several areas schools can focus actions to develop and amplify a whole school anti-racist environment. These are set out in detail in the Scottish Government’s Whole School Approach to responding to racism and racist incidents. They include:
- school culture and ethos
- curriculum, learning and teaching, particularly embedding anti-racism in the curriculum
- professional learning and development
- policies and systems
