How the Digital Discourse Initiative connects to other programmes

The digital discourse initiative contributes to gender-based violence prevention. It does this by:

  • helping to disrupt messaging from extremist content online
  • ensuring practitioners consider the digital landscape when addressing gender-based violence

It teaches that the digital landscape is a place where:

  • radicalisation is occurring
  • gender-based violence and abuse is carried out

This CPD compliments:

  • Equally Safe at School
  • the Mentors in Violence Prevention programme
  • the Relationship, Sexual Health, and Parenthood (RSHP) Curriculum
